rv anti freeze will evaporate @ 160 degress the alcohol in the rv anti freeze will evaporate and all you will have left is water ive seen it done before even under presurized units.

i believe every word that rtimber has listed in his quote .I am a manufacture of wood boilers and he has pointed out evereything that has to be done to mauntain a stove i have seen some come back that are so full of creosote that tells you everything about that person!!! we have had stoves that just came back that are 26 yrs old and want a new one. only reason because it was well taken care of

remember guys put the coal on top of your wood only, if you put the coal directly on the grartes you will crack or warp them, coal is very hot for a long period of time just something id throw out to ya

yes he will have a problem if it is a open system if you had a closed system you would not have that problem.put a 20 or 30 plate at your funace and you will not have that problem cause your  line to the house would be under preasure and all problems solved...

just make sure he puts air bleaders on the high side of the radiator. might have to put a bigger pump on also some pumps have a low head preasure and will not pump that far above stove height

we have just got one of our earliest models in for a trade and it was 140 aqua-therm it was 22 yrs old,if you run antifreeze in the system they will last 10-15 yrs and keep it clean and maintain well

no i think you guys are all wrong you forgot aqua-therm there are a few on here that have an aqua-therm and they will tell yea what they think of there aqua-therm (so please add aqua-therm)
