Just wondering what you guys are getting for an air temp reading at your register. I have two heat exchangers/Furnaces...2 separate duct runs, ( 2 totaly seperate systems ) with the first one being " T d" into the line with ball Valves to adjust the flow to the first exchanger. I am trying to Balance both units and about the best I can get is 95 degrees?(Air Temperature) Boiler temp is set at 170....with a 10 degree diff...Boiler is set at about 80 feet From the house and I use a 3 speed Taco pump set on the second speed.

 Doesn't work to bad but the original house take a lot longer to reach temp than the Addition does, But the addition is about 1/2 the size of the original house.

My boiler is set at 170 - 180 and is 125 feet away from my house.  I get 110 temp reading at my registers

With incoming water at 175.6  I have 123 degrees at register.

Have you tried with the pump on high? Is it a 00R pump?

Yes it is an 00R Taco pump...  Last winter was my first year and I ran it on LOW all year, but we had a warm winter here in Indiana last winter.  My house stays warm but the furnace will run for about 20 minutes to raise it 2 degrees. But the addition furnace will run for about 5 minutes to do the same work.

I always thought the faster the pump ran the less heat it will pull out of the water..is this night right ?

No, that is opposite. If you run it faster you will get more heat.

So do you think I need a bigger pump....  How much GPH or GPM  Should I be looking for ?    The boiler I have runs water through the door to cool it... wouldn't take nothing to remove a hose and fill a 5 gallon bucket and time it ?

Im getting 150-155 at my register. Aquastat at 175 with 5 degree diff.
