General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: looking at a heatmaster or central
« on: September 30, 2012, 03:25:09 PM »
Hello tbart16 I was in same as you a few months back I been researching and talking to people about the owb's and I too had narrowed down to a hm 5000 or a cb5036. I looked at both units. Several times and. I tryed toget a quote from central boiler dealer he has his setup in front of a pallet place with busness cards. I have not met the dealer I called twice leaving msgs to get quotes anyway I visited my heatmaster dealer he has his own shop with a good selection instock and I liked the features of the 5000 over 5036 I finally got a quote from the central boiler dealer about 3 weeks later and 2 weeks late I went with the heatmaster dealer he had great customer service and even ordered the color I wanted and had all my parts instock and stove took about 2 weeks to get he delivered it for free! Hard to beat that service I have mine all rdy to go for the winter now! I don't think you go wrong with ether one but I choosed heatmaster because a few features I like and and dealers customer service that's what I would base it on!

Yeah I just like to shop around you know trying to save a little money you know. I got to. Have one so I guess I will get my dealer to order one. I am building a shed to cover stove and my firewood to keep it all dry and connectors and hardware is a lot more than what I thought was going to be but it will be worth it in the end. Thanks everyone for your help on here!

Well the supervent model will not work with the heatmasters chimeny the one that comes on them is a ultra temp 6" x18" chimney by Selkirk the supervent is made by same company it will not lock together it is just a little wider and not as deep as the ultra temp. Does anyone know we're I can get one  3' long without shelling out 130.00 for one thanks

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: Biomass Direct

Yeah I don't think I would buy one because they use to own a company called free heat machines in jonesboro tn when warranty problems came about they closed doors then 2nd company with same looking boilers with new paint and name bio mass direct in elizabethton and now they offer the new Fischer wood boilers so better watch out they may drop bio direct next the have the same guys on YouTube for all the boilers and. I live prob 35 mins from elizabethton factory and I do not know of one single person who owns one I do know of a few people that had the free heat machine and  have horrible problems with them so you can decide if I was you I would check with Scott7m he is a Kentucky heatmaster ss dealer he prob closer than 250 miles. And you will get your parts just as quick from a good dealer like him as "factory direct" I got mine. From a dealer in south west va about. A 40 min drive he lots of stoves in stock but the color I wanted I had him order my color and. He had pipe fittings exchangers and support to help you though your install and. It only took 2 weeks to get my. Stove in I have a heatmaster ss mf 5000 ihave it up and running other than a fire in it because it's like 90 degrees here right now. I had a central boiler dealer down the road from me too. And know of some peole that have them and like them but choose the heatmaster dealer because of servIce the give there. Customers and that says a lot!

And of course start cutting more wood I got access to several truck loads of good seasoned wood just need to cut and split up!
