Sight Glass
« on: October 16, 2019, 07:48:20 AM »

Anybody have a good trick for cleaning the sight glass?  I know the new stoves have an upgrade, but mine needs a good cleaning and I haven't found anything that works so far.

Some guys swear by using a little bit of wood ash. Personally I took a stick, placed a little rag over it then sprayed with window cleaner then inserted into the hole from the inside of the door. The new ones do work much better.
