If you don't have a drain tile ran with your pex you will most likely have ground water follow the pex into your basement or crawl space if you go through the wall.

I installed a 10 plate before the water heater and was concerned that due to the small amount of hot water we use and long times with no one home that the electric would be kicking on to maintain the temperature. There has not been a time in the two weeks since I fired up the boiler that the temps at the faucet have not been 20 degrees hotter than we keep the heater set to. I can not wait for next months electric bill.
