Title: Wildfire and the EPA
Post by: Steinacher Sales on May 15, 2014, 12:24:35 PM
To All,

I guess the EPA will be regulating the fires in California, Texas and so on. They'll probably fine those states that burn the forest and make polluting smoke that's been going on since the beginning of time. Get real!

There is no carbon footprint from wood smoke! What a joke! We need to let our Government Officials know what we think about the new regulations on Indoor and Outdoor Wood Burning Furnaces. They did say you could have a camp fire though! Thanks a lot! LOL

I think the EPA was/is more concerned with particulate matter than with smoke.

It all comes down to CONTROL. The more they regulate, the more control they have over our day to day lives. And of course the more they regulate the larger government gets, and of course the larger it gets the more employees the heads of each department have to supervise which falls back to more power. Not much of a power trip if a person is only overseeing a handful of subordinates compared to a few thousand or ten of thousands of subordinates.

It usually starts with regulating leaf burning, then fireplaces, and like we've all seen outdoor boilers. Throw in a smoking ban to where they don't even want people to smoke outside on their own property or in their own cars and hello 1984.

Have you noticed that the only good paying jobs out there are government jobs.
