Bp 200K HANGING HEATER
«

Does anyone have specs on an older Bp200k hanging heater. This one has the stepup step down converter onit with a 220v fan. I am wondering how many cfm's it is. I think my fan is going bad an slowing down after it runs cause I am no longer getting the heat out of it I once did.

If it's anything like the noname china factory/child labor built unit that I have with the ridiculous anchor of a fan, then go to lowes and buy a metal 20" fan and take the front grill off. Mount the rear half in place of the original turd. It is a near perfect fit, just use washers on the existing bolts. To be exact, it is the commercial electric brand from H depot that I know fits. It's quieter, lighter, uses less power, and probably the same cfm.

Might have dust in the coil too, reducing btu's.
I swapped a fan on a hanging heater the other day. Got the numbers off if it and ordered a replacement motor online, different brand tho.

I keep the dust blowed out. Called BP about a fan they are sold out for 6-8 weeks. Took a fan from an old Dayton NG heater and rigged up on the back now we got some heat. Draws about 9 more degrees out of coil
