General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Ibc heater
« on: June 29, 2019, 05:38:11 AM »
Anybody  got any ideas on how to make a heater to heat a ibc tank off your wood boiler. I am overwintering Tilapia in my garage for the winter. I could run the pex through the tank but the key would be to regulate the temp. Thanks in advance.

What is the first thing to look for when a BL 2840 won't have the fan come on to start a burn? I have power and it comes on and goes through its cycle, but fan won't come on. >:D

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Out of no where
« on: January 05, 2016, 03:44:48 AM »
I was helping my neighbors twin grand daughters put the bridle on one my Saddle bred geldings. He had some fungus in his ears and had always been sensitive with them. I always turn his head to the side to put on the bridle he lifted up and at the same time stepping forward got me off my feet and to the ground. I knew when I hit the ground I had really hurt myself this time! There was a small rock in the frozen ground and I hit it with dead center accuracy :bash:It had broken my femur bone just below the ball and socket. This has been by far the most painful things I have done in my life. I am thankful I didn't damage the ball & socket.
Happy New year.

How many of you guys have opened your boiler door while the fan is on and seen a blue flame. I have seen it twice. Nice hot and complete burn.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / first mishap on bl28-40
« on: January 10, 2015, 08:43:35 AM »
Yesterday I opened the back door of my bl 28-40 the wind grabbed the door from my hand and ripped the top hinge off. Now I know it was my fault, but has anyone noticed how cheap the hinges are? Tell me if I am out of line, I can take it.

How many of you have went away for extended periods of time and just left your boilers unattended with just the pump running. This might seem stupid, but I am just checking my options for going away.
