What is the best way to drain the system in order to switch the supply and return lines?obviously I need to let the system cool down but then what do I do?

I'm trying to send you pictures on Flickr and can't figure it out I did crawl under my house and I can see that the feedline is connected to the wrong line. The supply line is clearly connected to the return line underneath the house what is going to be my best option as far as draining the system and switching these lines?I would send photos but like I said I can't figure out how to do it but it clearly shows that the lines are crossed what is your input as far as what this is doing to my entire system am I screwed?

I got your pictures and my connections look correct in the back of my boiler my next guess is that the pipes underneath the house are switched. The two lines from my boiler connect to the two lines in the my house inside my crawlspace and I'm thinking that is where they are switched

I will try to get pics.  Think about this, when I bypassed the filter to clean, I turned it back on and could hear the water circulating the wrong way through the filter.  Water is coming from the house to the filter instead of coming from the boiler to the filter and then the house.  This is telling me the lines are backwards.  Sound probable?

All looks good on the back of unit. I can feel difference in temp on the two lines in the house.  The return is hotter than the supply line.

Sounds like my supply is going to exchanger on furnace first then to the plate exchanger above water heater then filter.  This means the supply is connected to the wrong side of the condenser going into furnace.  I'm having problems keeping my house warm and I assume this is why!!

These will form on the stove cap?  I figured it would be too hot

I have a sneaking suspicion that the man who installed my wood burner switched the supply and feed lines accidentally what is this going to do to my stove and how can I fix it
