Has anyone made an inertia-based log splitter (like a Super Splitter) at home?

I was always curious about them myself did u ever see the one tractor supply had a few yrs back? It seems like they did not want the liability of them so they stopped selling them around here..

I would be afraid of it kicking logs at me. Ya know I could see a piece of oak with knots  and twists  flying out
