If he needs 75 percent overall efficiency then it looks like you’ll be installing a heatmaster g200.

What happened when the customer filled out the “ find dealer near you” form?  https://www.crownroyalstoves.com/find-a-dealer/

Something smells fishy. Crown royal isn’t selling factory direct into that area. There is a dealer that will be providing him the sale on the boiler and can provide information needed.

I have bought some of them for my 371xp. The pull cover was ok, the brake handle was poor quality as far as sizing went. I had to do some Dremel work to get it to slide past the engine top cover when engaged. I think those are the only Chinese knockoffs I tried.

I like to put the closet flange on the subfloor which in your case will be backer board. Landing it on top of the tile will cause the toiler and closet flange to be very close togeather and you will have to squeeze almost all of the wax ring out of it to get it to settle down and you can’t use a hybrid rubber gasket instead of a wax ring because you can’t squish out material. I would land it on the backboard and then use a hybrid gasket which can be repositioned and reused unlike a wax ring.

Not sure if you have pulled off your rear panel to clean above the hx tubes and got a chance to look at how the fan pulls the air through but it takes the full heat of what you are sending out of the stack. I have a flue gauge on my flue to monitor stacks temps and if you open that bypass during a cycle you can spike the flue temp over 500 in under 30 seconds. We have seen a lot of people chew those fan bearings up on the Facebook pages because they didn't realize what was happening when they opened the bypass during a cycle.

Fan bearings fail? If so that is a typical result of the smoke bypass being left open and spiking the flue temps causing bearing failure. My dealer burned up the fan bearings on my first fan. Been through 3 heating seasons now on the same fan with no issues being conscious of flue temps when using the bypass.

And food for thought, the tacos don’t hold up well to open systems. Grufundos or bell gosset have a much better track record.

I am not the problem, no need for me to care about attempting to "deescalate" the problem child. He can run his own life and make his own bed.

Can we just call a spade a spade? There is only ONE PERSON THAT IS AN ISSUE.

Wow, unfounded accusations against a moderator? Sounds like someone needs a boot.

The problem is that I only have one prospective customer and he hasn't replaced his yet.

Heatmaster G series or Crown royal Prestine series. I don’t like the others for a few reasons, partly because of the mild steel and partly because of manufacturer stuff imo.

In other news I am manufacturing tin foil hats for sale. Anyone need a replacement for their current one?
