Ridgewood ad in Ohio Auto and RV magazine
« on: November 06, 2016, 03:57:23 PM »

Ad says they are legal and will deliver to Ohio and surrounding states. How is that possible? I thought Michigan was the only state that made some motion to refrain from enforcing the new EPA law......????????

Probably not legal at all.

Michigan’s law pretty much just states a Michigan employee won’t enforce the law, I’ve had to explain to several that Michigan isn’t exempt, they are just ignoring the enforcement of it.

HeatmasterSS has a new dealer in Niles Michigan which isn’t too far from me, told em I hate to be in his shoes having to deal with potential customers who absolutely want a conventional series as they are “exempt” .

IIRC,  you can still sell conventional boilers, but only for commercial applications.  Any fine print in the ad with that disclaimer?

I saw an ad for them a while back and they were calling it a yard stove and that was why it was "legal". I wish I could tell every potential customer my story, but I would probably get sued for defamation of character or something.
