The cleaning was fine.  It had been 2 weeks and I had put about 1 1/2 cords through it and there was just some ash but not very dirty at all.

Wood Burner glad to hear things are going well.  What are you heating with it?  Where are you located?

I am heating my house and barn which is about 8000 sq ft. total.  Tomorrow I will take a picture of it when I fill it.  The firebox is pretty big.  It will take a 34" log.  This years wood I cut at 24" because I didn't know what I was going to get for a boiler.  The wood I am cutting now for next year I am cutting 30".  I think that will help my burn times.

I've put up to 30" pieces in mine. Good god 8,000sq ft :o You must live in a freakin palace! Or have one bad barn. I am jealous of the barn. Can't wait to recoup from the new house.

My barn is 44 x 60.  I have 4 car garage in front half on the first floor and shop in the back half of first floor.  The second floor is not done yet but is just going to be living space.  Not sure yet what we are going to use it for.
