stove plugged up.
« on: October 22, 2014, 06:59:40 PM »

Well here I go again trying to save wood at lower heat settings. I turned her up to 180 with 15 diff because I had a ton of creosote blockage causing terrible burn times. Once again I learn the hard way. Hahaha

Now you know! That's part of life and learning, like I told my step son last night, just because you make mistakes in life doesn't mean you aren't part of the family, just learn from the mistakes is all!

That's absolutely all mistakes are good for. One of my former school teachers said you have 2 choices: 1. Wallow in it, or 2. Learn from it.

Ok, I'm a rookie at this,  Are you saying the 180 setting with the 15 degree diff plugged it up, or that's what you set it at to fix it.  If the later is the case, what settings plugged it up.  Thanks

After further review I'm ready to burn my stove. After I replaced my big steel basement walkout door that was inefficient and also foamed my bond plates I can't keep a fire alive in my stove. Its pissing me off because my house iis too damn efficient t now. I thought it was plugged but its not it just do t cycle enough so the fire falls asleep. Pisses me off

I am currently running a 5 degree differential due to so little demand/tight house and so far it has worked fine.  I imagine as it gets colder I'll got to 10.

5 degree diff and a garden tub. Momma will be happy with a hot bath everyday. They use a lot of hot water but it's worth it.
