hey all you hoss owners how are the furnaces performing this year so far any problems with units im  on third year still like mine pretty well what are some burn times yall have I burn mostly green wood tried some coal last year

I know a guy running 160 max and his door lip rotted out, so much for 1/2 inch thick certified steel.

starting third year here, no compliants so far , just the normal maintenance , mine will burn green or seasoned , with seasoned better burn and coal beds, green burns but you have to babysit it a bit more , I like it now , unseasonably warm weather and check it every 24 hrs as it sits at an idle most of the time, when it gets cold , below 30 I get about a 6 hour burntime heating 2 uninsulated greenhouses , so all well so far

on my 2nd year on this end 300sf so far so good knock on wood  :D cold days/nights get 15 - 16 hour burn on these past few warm days here in NC been getting 24 hour burns
