Have a 880 in the barn waiting on a full restore, also have a 770 and a 77 waiting their turn. Got to looking and I think I have enough spare parts including sheet metal to build another 88 to go with the one we already use.

Yep, belong to the one on Facebook. The Oliver Gang used to have a website but I believe they let it go as none of the admin wanted to deal with the constant spam.

This is a pretty active online group as well. http://www.hartparroliver.org/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=1

Need to get my grandfathers 1964 1600 diesel in the shop and change the clutch for my next project. Gonna touch the paint up while at it. I completely restored it over 15 years ago, even took the cast iron grill off and sandblasted that down to bare virgin metal.

Yes we have olivers here that need work also . One needs pto pack fixed others have minor issues . tires get really crazy also .
tractors them selfs are easy to work on and last along time once fixed .  Its just gather parts and finding time to get them the way you want them . Its all the Oliver story .

My major project is I’m getting coolant in the oil on our 1855. Wasn’t new when Dad bought it but was only used at the White factory in South Bend In. to move stuff around the grounds. Have almost 8000 hours on the third tachometer.

Pretty cool !!! Nastiest problems I could have is with power booster on my 880 Its worked great so far but they had issues with the helical geared transmissions . all rest have old sper gear transmissions . 880 is the biggest I have now . It loves its Gas and I like the most about 880 is power steering its charlin add on  but works great.

Out 770 has the torque amplifier on it, biggest way to keep em working is not to use it  ;)

Mine may not be as cool as an Oliver, but I've been using my 2013 Kubota MX5100 with the pallet forks for moving wood and it has worked quite well.  I have heavy duty plastic pallets I'm making wood racks out of to hold the wood.

I was always going to make set of forks also because I think that's best way to deal with moving stacking and drying the wood . That's my future project .
I always thought sawmill make pallets out of the firewood 8ft stuff . I mean harbor freight style saw mill nothing super fancy.

We have a set of pallet forks for our tracked skid steer, very handy. Even better is the grapple for the skid steer.
