Just wondering if anyone has had to changed there door seal / rope yet?

Been having trouble with boiler representatives the one i bought my unit from lost his dealership
and the one that took over sucks just as bad no help at all.
 
Love the boiler and what it does just wish that trying to get a answer did not take weeks

Not sure what size gasket you need but you may be able to buy gasket material and glue from local hardware store. I know local stores here have up to 1"and will cut to length assuming you have rope gasket. If not local you can order from internet. Sure is disgusting when your local dealer lets you down.

I even called the company about the under ground piping that was sold to me not what Central Boiler sells. The first dealer said he makes his own and was just as good as the Central Boiler brand this is why he lost his dealership. So now am stuck with 150 foot of worthless pluming just wondering how much better my boiler would work with the correct piping installed.
 Central Boiler said so sorry has done nothing to help me again love the boiler but no customer care for having a bad dealer...

I assume you already have the 150 feet of pipe installed. If it is working ok  I wouldn't worry about it. You can check leaving OWB  temp verses temp entering basement ect. and see how much heat loss you have. There are so many different brands out their. Some better than others,maybe what you have is just fine.

For the 5036 you need 8 feet of 3/4" rope. Use black silcone adhesive to apply.

I hope you meant high temperature silicone. I doubt regular stuff would last very long.

The aceessories manual did not stipulate high temp, but thats probably a good point.

I bought mine off ebay. Type in Central Boiler. Prices are not bad!

My dealer has been selling me 1in rope gasket kit is 19 dollars and comes with tube of caulking, Im going to replace mine again.

You know the classic 4030 and 5036's use 7/8" rope right???  I know above I said  3/4" in this post, but found out I was mistaken.
