General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / ASPEN 175 ISSUES
« on: December 17, 2010, 06:36:53 AM »
Hello -- I have the Greenwood Aspen 175, I have had it for 3 years now.  I am now having an issue with the unit which it is not heating my house correctly.   My digital thermometer outside reads at 177 degrees and appears (to me to be hot enough) however inside my rooms are only getting up to 62 degrees?  My furnace that I have for backup inside is an Energy Kinetics System 2000 hot water baseboard, which has a temp display on it so I can see the temp comming in from the outside wood furnace.  It appears that it is not heating the system quick enough to force the heat out to the zones?  My installer is no where to be found and the company is Bankrupt so I am in ruff shape here.  I reside in Northern NJ and was looking for someone who has knowledge to service the unit and have no luck.  I have no problems doing the work myself but really have no idea where to start?

One last bit on info on it...  I have tried to adjust the control valave in the back of the unit which controls the supply/return.  When I do that the temp of the wood furnace drops to 166 and appears to struggle between  166 - 169?
