Title: EPA
Post by: coolidge on July 10, 2015, 03:58:43 PM
When I am out on my work trips, I see lots of trees dying beside the road, mostly rock maple. I see these trees in different parts of the state, and even my next door neighbors maples are dying. I am wondering if the salt or calcium chloride is killing them. Shouldn't the EPA be looking at this instead of our wood heaters or is it on THERE agenda.

Well of course it isn’t. EPA employees might have to drive those roads and they want to go fast like the idiots they are in the winter just like the summer.

I can remember growing up and the county never salted the back roads, maybe a little salt and sand at the intersections and that was it, with the influx of city idjits moving to the country they’ve started the last 10 years or so.

Scott Walker is running for President. If he won he would definatly slow up the EPA. He did what he could to stop the wood stove regulations already.

They use so much salt in NE Ohio that it is showing up in the water.  The local newspapers ran the story a few months ago.

I can believe that.

I used to come home once in awhile from the hay sales down a certain side road, guy had a row of arborvitae planted along the road around a curve, looked real nice. They never used to salt that road or curve, ever. The last 4 or 5 years they’ve kept it clear all winter and I’ve noticed his trees are looking sick last time I was by. Sure wish all that salt would slow the grass down in the ditches along my yard, that stuff grows thick and heavy all the time.

Wouldn't bother me so much if they gave me a permit to cut all that standing dead stuff, from what I have seen I bet there is 20 cord in one area.

?? Those unions were getting way out of hand. Now thanks to him, Wisconsin has far less paper work, lower taxes for everybody, less nonsense gun control laws, and etc. He is one of the only leaders who realizes that success is based not on how many people are dependant on the government, but rather on how many people are not dependant on the government. He feels that most issues, marriage laws, environmental laws, and the likes should be dictated state by state. He realizes that people living in apartments and working in chicago from 9 to 5 are not the only middle class Americans. That dairy farmers will benefit more from someone who will look at low milk prices and do something about it rather than introducing a insurance plan where you never get out more than you put in. etc etc etc. Now, what was bad about him?
