Title: Optimizer 250 Nozzle

A few years ago, someone on this site was testing nozzles for this unit to find the best mixture to make the nozzle last the longest and dimensions of the openings to maximize gasification.  Does anyone know which member was doing that?

I am trying to get new cast nozzles for my Optimizer 250 and the factory is now just selling Stainless Steel nozzle plates.  Does anyone have experience with these?

Karlk is the member who is/was fabricating replacement nozzles. I got some from him about a year ago. I bet he’s still making them.

Another member cut a nozzle out of cutting edge material for his G series and has been using it for a year now.

The nozzles in the new G Series are made out of 1/2” 409 stainless steel plate.

So......

No more mortar nozzles for the Optimizer 250 / 350 Series.....

5/8" Carbon Steel Plate nozzles only??

Would LOVE some recommendations for the best method to position and secure this new nozzle which I have never used.
