General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Letter from propane company

Fired our boiler up fall of "09" and have not bought propane since fall of "08". I have been wondering when they would send us a letter telling us to either buy some propane or were coming to pick it up. Propane company said we could keep the tank if we bought a 100gals. HAHA. I think I am just going to let them come pick it up and some day just by my own 100gal tank for a back up. What a great feeling it is not to worry about buying gas from someone else. Has anyone else had this issue in the past??

Fire Wood / Still have a fire burning??

Last night I let the fire go out! It was 74 in the house and really did not need the heat on. May need to fire up a couple more time in the future if the wife get cold!!!  Was wondering if you guys try to keep the fire going up to temp or just restart the fire if you have a cold night or two??

Fire Wood / TYPE of CHAIN SAWS USED

Was just wondering what type of saws do you guys use? The 031AV I use has a 18" bar and was given to me by my dad two years ago when I bought my OWB. I would like to get a new Farm Boss next year and keep the 031AV as a back up!

Central Boiler / Using Astrol in 6048

I have about a week's worth of ashtrol left, was wondering how many people keep using ashtrol after first container is gone.
