Title: Blower motor crapped out

Well I guess it is time to shut down.  Went out this morning and the blower motor crapped out.  This is my second year.  I am going to see if I can find a different blower motor to replace it with.  The one I have is a fasco does anyone have suggestions on a better motor.  I was thinking maybe dayton makes something I could replace it with.

At one time a Dayton might have been a good choice, most of their motors are now made in China, so most likely a piece of crap that will last oh...lets say a couple of years.

I was looking and baldor is made in the US but not sure if they can cross if over or not.

I bought mine from this site. http://www.altheatsupply.com/ (http://www.altheatsupply.com/) Looks to be the same one that was on the boiler. I wasn't happy that mine lasted a year. We will see how long this one lasts.....
