Site Suggestions / Re: Polar Boilers

I was looking for comments on Polar Boilers made in Manitoba and don't see a forum catagory for them. Can one be added. For now I'll post a general question about it in the general discussion and see what happens.

Thanks

Empyre / Looking at purchasing a pro 400
« on: May 25, 2013, 10:43:59 PM »
Been burning wood for 20 years in wood stoves with great success but built a 42 by 42 foot shop and put an electric boiler ( to expensive to run) in it, with an insulated floor and heat pipes. Don't won't to put a wood stove in there so looking at the pro 400 series to do the house and two shops and glad I found this site to quiz before I buy.  What is  the groups  take on the pro series.  I use pile of average seasoned wood that is not stacked and is 20' X 10' x 8' to heat my 2000 square foot house, a 700 square foot shop and my cabin when there.
I live in Manitoba, Canada where the weather gets a little nippy you might say. Will I spend more time putting up wood  or less with this boiler? Any all comments welcome

Thanks
Don
