Hope everyone is having a great summer, national guard has me leaving for up to 6 months so far looks like I will be gone for the winter, my unit is connected directly to my boiler so I am thinking I will have to add some shut offs and pipe to make a loop so I can run the pump in the boiler while having it closed from my boiler but should I be heating it somehow so it does not freeze? My pipe run is about 100' and some spots it might only be 12" deep.

Thanks for your service Johny!  can you drain the boiler and lines, how about blowing the lines out with air pressure and then adding a bit of non toxic anti freeze, of course the best thing would be to keep it running as draining it and letting it sit is not at all good for the steel

It would be real expensive, but maybe the best thing would be to get some glycol and add? Using your existing heating system to keep the bolero water warm is going to get expensive in a hurry.
