I know that the vBulletin software is more user-friendly than what we have now.  I didn't install that one in the beginning is because it is not free like SMF is.  But if the majority wants to upgrade than we will do that.

Free is always good. 

I didn't vote because I really don't know the differences and have no opinion on which is better.

vbulletin looks a lot like arboristsite.com. Does it work the same?

arboristsite.com uses vbulletin software.  If we used that it would be exactly the same.

I don't have a problem with eiether one,  Phin...it's your thang, do what you wanna do...I can't tell 'ya, who to sock it to!!...keep up the good work....things will pick up here when the weather cools. At least us OWB users are not scoffed at here like on other sites....mfm

Huh?Really, it seems to be working OK now, unless Im missing something. Do you need a financial burden now too, PhinPhan, in addition to all the headaches you must already have?


vBulletin does look nice, but unless the cost is inconsequential, Im sure none of us wish to throw it on one person. You do so much already for this site. We dont want to make it a full time job for anyone.

Would be nice to be able to contribute pics, but it looks like you've got that handled.
