Hello everyone,
I've been heating my house for the last 5 years with a Woodmaster 4400, and am in the process of putting up a 30X40 pole barn that I am planning on heating as well with the OWB. The stove came with a Taco 011, and it has worked flawlessly, but I don't think I need that much pump for the barn. I was looking at the Alpha, but I don't know anything about 'head' and 'pressure' and how they figure into picking a pump. I will have 50ft of underground to the barn (100ft total loop) going to a 100K BTU water to air heat exchanger sitting on an old furnace with just a fan. The barn will sit about 6-7 ft below the OWB, and be buried 2-3 ft underground ~ so total drop from the OWB to the barn would be about 10 ft. Do you guys think that the Grundfos Alpha will do the job, or should I get another 011 to be safe?
Thank you
-Chris
