Title: STILL BURNING....WTF
Post by: tinfoilhat2020 on April 16, 2018, 05:58:53 PM: longest most drawn out, up and down end to a winter that I can remember in a long time....the G200 is still cooking away and making HEAT!!!! SLAB WOOD DIET!! looing like ill be burning all the way until May this year here in southern MI!!!! Freezing rain, 30mph winds and 30 Degree temps today!

Just brought home another 3/4 cord jag of oak on Saturday, and it had better be the last. That makes 11 cord for the year and I'm tired of it!

I think it's the most wood I've burned since switching to a G.

Normally by National Bend Over day I can plan on grinding hay for the cows every 4-5 days, still grinding every other day just like it was January yet. Bad enough the cold and wet makes em eat more, but with the cold, wet, cloudy days the grass just started greening up.

Slab wood burns great for me! the stuff I get has a good bit of meat on it though

It is a long drawn out one getting kind of old, if I did not hate people so much I would move to a real warm place. Gonna have to stop burning may 1st for local ordinance no matter what anyways so calling it a season cleaning it out on Saturday. That is quite the warranty strategy Superwd6 they sell them on sale in when they are no fun to drive and viola very few claims.

I think the wires going to the low water cut off can be wire nutted together to limp til spring. But if ordinances are shutting you down you're stuck anyway.
