Remember that canvas tarps can burn quickly with one little spark from the flue if your wood pile is close to the unit.

Fire Wood / Re: Not selling any wood

We don't sell it by the cord here. It is sold  as what some call it a face cord or rick. I sell two loader buckets about a pickup load. $65 plus delivery. You would need 2 1/2 or 3 load to make up cord. This is mixed wood no. NO Pine, Willow or Cottonwood. People here won't buy that wood. Oak and Hickory cost more. I can haul eight buckets on my truck dump in with the loader. I dump it out of the dump truck and it is yours to stack or move. People here only buy seasoned wood endless it is all gone.

I sell all that we work up some years more than others. Most of our wood is gone by Christmas as it is now. Did not have as much this year. We will start on next years wood supply and will sell some of it in the Spring. I have some customers buy for summer outdoor fires.

I used a wet dry shop vac on the return line to help with the airlock that I had. Worked great.

This is the second set I made for my loader. We use for dragging brush, logs and feeding the chipper. One pin on the bucket and two hydraulic hoses and ready to work. I carry them inside the bucket when load the loader. They swing freely. :pic:

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: basic underground pex question
« on: October 25, 2012, 02:02:18 PM »
When I get a lot of rain my water table is high and the ground water will follow the pex tile into the crawspace. I dug under the footings  on a three block crawspace. I also used some sand around the tile which helps the water to travel. I also have other water issues in so I am used to it.

I like building and doing all that I can myself. I poured that sidewalk and did not want to tear it out. The concrete under he boiler is reused sidewalk. Notice the cracks and miss shape.
