Northern NY near Canadian border; off Eastern end of Lake Ontario near the Village of Lowville. Typical coldest winter temps -25F to -35F ambient with +15F to +20F ambient being the norm. Used to get lots of snow. Not so much in past 15 years

Nice county over there. Lots of huge deer! I worked on the wind farm construction from 2004-2007.

I remember driving in from Canton one morning. I hit snow in Croghan. By the time I hit Lowville there was 12" at 8am and by noon there was 48" of fluffy powder in our work yard! I loved making my rounds via snow sled and seeing the town plow the dirt roads with V plows and wings out on both sides! It was quite a site coming over a hill and seeing that coming at you!
