« on: September 29, 2014, 06:08:24 PM »
I put this out there awhile back but now that its getting colder I thought I may try again. I have a slightly used G100 that I tested for one month that I'm selling $1500 off the suggested retail. Great deal for someone looking for a like new furnace. http://www.yoderheating.com/usedfurnaces.html

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Closing down
« on: September 24, 2014, 03:46:02 PM »
Well I've made my mind up, I'm not going to be a dealer much longer. I really can't see a future selling these new epa approved furnaces. I have yet to see one work as well as a conventional furnace and the prices are insane. Who in their right mind is going to pay $10,000+ for a furnace to only heat one home? It sure is a shame, I've done this for 7 or 8 years and built up a decent business. At least I can continue to share my experience on here with people looking for help.

This is the link to the new facebook group. This group is for outdoor furnace owners and those who wish to learn more about them with the intent to buy. Dealers are also encouraged to join but we will not allow continual posting about what you are selling. A post once in a while about a special, new model line or trade in furnaces are acceptable. Please also post pictures of the unit you are using and other parts of your heating system.

HeatMaster / G100 for sale
« on: March 21, 2014, 08:25:47 AM »
As many of you have read I have been burning a G100 for the last month just to learn the system. I am now looking at burning another new unit that we just got in. Originally I had planned on keeping the G100 and burning some more at some point but its getting so close to spring I doubt I will be able to. I have decided to sell it instead. As I said before its been burned one month so it is practically new. List price is $7,900, I'm going to do a $1,000 discount and sell it for $6,900. If interested you can email me at lauren@yoderheating.com

HeatMaster / G100
« on: February 24, 2014, 08:21:09 AM »
Well I am going to burn a G100 for a while this spring. Should be an interesting experience. I burned a G200 several years ago but Heat Master has done some major improvements over that time so it will be nice to compare. The G100 is rated the cleanest burning batch wood nonflex fuel outdoor furnace on the market today. http://www.epa.gov/burnwise/owhhlist.html

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / New EPA standards
« on: January 12, 2014, 06:32:53 PM »
I've been glancing through what has been coming out of the EPA and was wondering what others thought about it. What kind of impact will this have on the market? http://www2.epa.gov/residential-wood-heaters/proposed-new-source-performance-standards-residential-wood-heaters

HeatMaster / Need Dealers
« on: October 01, 2013, 08:33:53 PM »
This season will make the 10th season I've heated with a Heat Master furnace and the 6th season I have been a Heat Master furnace dealer. Over that time I've installed hundreds of furnaces and feel blessed to have been able to make a living while saving people significant amounts of money.
Now I'm starting a new chapter in my business.  Change can be rather scary especially when you are leaving a steady income for the unknown but I'm excited. As of this year I will no longer focus on retail but instead I've been offered the opportunity to work as a distributor and set up new dealers. My area will cover Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina. Currently there are some areas that already have dealers but many areas do not.
My reason for posting is to get the word out. I thought there may be some on here that may be interested or you may know someone who is. I feel with my experience I am in a good position to assist new dealers as they learn the ropes. If anyone is interested or has ideas shoot me a pm. Thanks guys

Global Hydronics / Used GH2000
« on: October 01, 2011, 06:48:18 AM »
I just took in a GH2000 Stainless Steel furnace on a trade. It is 5 years old and seems to be in very good condition except for the siding which has some scratches. Anyone out there have any idea what it may be worth and what price I should list it at? Thanks for any help, I have not dealt with a Global Hydronic before.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / To dealers, how are sales this year?
« on: September 22, 2011, 09:43:32 PM »
I am a dealer for Heat Master here in Virginia and was wondering how other dealers are doing this year. I was wondering how this year compares to years in the past.
For me this year has been very slow so far but in the last few weeks my sales are getting a little better. I think I've sold 5 this week so maybe things are going to start turning around a little.

HeatMaster / G200
« on: January 24, 2011, 01:10:59 PM »
I sold the Heatmaster 3000 that was heating my home. I wasn't planning on selling it but had a guy who really wanted it. I think I am going to install a G200 gasifacation furnace and try it out. I will try to post pictures and info on how it goes. This is going to be the first time I've personally used a gassifier to heat my house and I'm pretty excited.

General Discussion / Anyone burning coal?
« on: December 08, 2010, 07:36:10 PM »
I went and picked up a ton of house coal today. I've had lot of customers telling me this is the way to go when you want longer burn times. I have one customer heating heating almost 6,000sq ft using a MF5000. He burned 7 ton of coal last year plus a couple of pickup loads of wood. He went straight to the mine and payed $75 per ton. I bought mine locally and payed $115 per ton. If $500 of coal would heat my home for a winter I would almost consider never cutting wood again. Does anyone else burn coal out there?
