I took a leave of absence for the entire computer thing over Christmas.  Thought I'd give myself and fingers a break, but I have to tell you I was going through withdraws....sure I could go outside and open the firebox door and get refreshed and renewed...but it just wasn't the same as coming on here every night and reading and reading and reading.....Every day/night that i was on this site, I was learning and it was actually "soaking in" and not just going through one eye and out the other.

I never got around to installing the Ranco..."hopefully" this weekend though as is going to be warm for this time of the year.  The other little issues I have will just have to wait until the weather gets warmer and there is less mud to walk around in.

So it's great to be "home" and I see we have some new OWB in the crowd.  Welcome to the site my friends!

Well time to go out and check the fire and then head off to bed.

It's been pretty quiet in general. I had visions of you literally taking someones advise and "kicking" the Shaver and was too embarrassed to come back and tell us the results.

Christmas holiday went well.  We never had any kids, so it was really just another day for us, but we had family over and good food to eat...and of course there was a really good foot ball game on.  :-)

Haven't run the Shaver over yet Kid...I think once i get the bugs worke3d out, this thing will run like a champ.

Good to be back on here though.  Like I mentioned in my of my posts...this site is full of knowledgeable people who at one time or another started out just as I did....good to be among friends...and whats really neat is that no one comes on here and complains about this or that question already been asked and replied to.  We all have a different way of asking questions in our own mind that WE understand...and so it may really been a question just asked very recently, but in our mind...it's still a new question.  Make sense?

Christmas is over for us officially tomorrow as the wife begins to take down 14 Christmas trees.  I will take photos and sent them to Bull....lucky guy, and maybe he'll re-post them for me.  These are NOT your typical Christmas Trees...well they are sort of.
