dhw using stock coil

hooked up dhw with stock coil on shaver.  My installer (5yrs ago) used a armstrong cast iron pump to circulate.  That pump corroded within 2yrs. To date I have not replaced this pump.  Any suggestions on type of pump/circulator to get.  I was told to get a stainless steel so  I checked alternate heating and supply only one was $219.00

jest my two cents i would go with a taco i beleave 0011 like wille g it sounds as if he has had good luck with his i am still saving to replace mine with one wile trying to type this i finley found a name for my boiler (HOT CHICK) she dont have to look good just eat very littel keep me worm at night and dont cost much on maint ha ha ha ha gary

Bronze pumps would be another option looks like they are still in the $200-$300 range.  Correct me if I am wrong, this pump cirulates your domestic water not boiler water.  If so a cost pump of anysort will rust shortly due to the oxygen it the tap water.

What was the model of the original pump? f you look, you can find smaller Bronze pumps for around $100.

Also, I was at Menards today and they have a Grundfos plastic pump for around $110. I haven't found the specs on it yet but would assume it would work. (it is a UPS 15-58 RU)

I believe the original pump was an Armstrong 30.  When I bought my owb I upgraded the pump and they still sent me the Armstrong 30 which my installer put on the dhw.  I will look at Menards today. 

Also, can anyone post about how much they save per month on their electric bill by not using electric to heat their dhw.
