Will extend the stack; the building right there is the garage, the house is about 60' away. Nearest neighbor 1/2 mile away.
eventually will heat the house, garage, and grrenhouse.

Be sure to check out the mods in the other threads. They will turn your Shaver into a different machine.

In the mean time, better get busy on that wood pile, LOL!    ;D

Spent most of last year researching and reading on the OWBs and even with the 2008 issues with Shaver I felt like it was still a good stove for the cost. I did get the factory extras so don't have to add much myself. Looks like Shaver took to heart all the comments and integrated them into an improved product for the price.  Definitley very good ideas are shared on the forums for improvements.

Did have to use the dozer to slide it into place as the delivery driver could not place it over the cut out for the pex. Very shortly will have to work up some wood for the season.

I just finished heating our third season with the Shaver 165.
Before we got it, we had a couple years heating with combination indoor wood burner and oil heat.

How nice it is to just crank up the thermostat and have the whole house warm and toasty. Before, we always kept the stat turned down so we could save on heating oil.
