Miss the smell
« on: November 30, 2016, 12:33:56 PM »

Idk if anyone else has same experience but back when I burned wood in my indoor stove or whenever I smell the smoke from anyone else's stove, I enjoy the smell.  The smooth hickory, creosote, smelling smoke.  My c250 smoke usually smells not nice while its burning.  Now when it quits and just wisps smoke out it smells ok.  I guess cause it's burning so hot the the good smelling smoke gets burned off.     Anyone got any ideas

The stagnant idle smoke usually does smell bad, but there isn't a ton of it.  Little wisps that you can only smell near the stove.  When my stove is running, it doesn't smell bad at all.  Smells about like a campfire smoke.  I'm the only one in my family that can tell if the stove is running or idle just from the smell.

If downwind from my G400 you can sometimes just barely catch a whiff of that campfire smell, most of the time you don’t smell anything.

I have become addicted to the smell of my G400 when it is gassing.  It's got a very distinct smell that doesn't smell like smoke at all.

Although my G200 doesn't smell bad at all. I still don't miss the smell.

I like the way my smells when it's not running.  When's it's running and it's just blowing clear heat waves is when I think it stinks
