I have a 4000 inverter from Harbor Freight. I used it for a Christmas parade float. It work ok but my load was less than of the 4000 and it was peaking out.

I worked in Gifford, IL this morning taking a large uprooted tree off of the phone company communications building and the town looks just like you see it on the news. The town is closed with roadblocks unless you live or work there. The news tonight said 20 homes completely  destroyed.

I used the flexible connecting tubes with rubber gaskets on each end similar to the ones to hook up hot water heaters.

Insurance is the reason I got mind. My business insurance covers my building trucks and liability. They canceled until I took out the wood stove in the building last year. My house insurance charges $20 per year extra for wood stove.

I use a Multitek
And you won,t like the price but it works great for large wood and we use a smaller super split to make it firewood to sell.

They were a watts brand form menards. It has been years but I used to do plumbing. I would start with copper not brass on the HX.

I used shark bites on my HX only and they leak when heating up or cooling down. I used crimp style everywhere else. I will replace them with sweat connections this summer.

It looks like what we call wild or Black Cherry. Great for for smoking chicken or pork like apple.

I am located in central Illinois and my Hoss 400 HE is working as expected. Our winters have been mild. Tonight single digits. I would answer any questions you have.
