Post by: wormmister on October 22, 2013, 06:03:10 PM
Hi all
I'm thinking of building a owf and I'm looking for a good set of plans.
Any ideas or help would be great.
Thank you

What are you looking to build, a tank in a tank or a superstove?

I have some ACAD drawings of the tank-in-tank stove I built here:

That might give you some ideas for building that type.  Check out the Homemade section for others, lots of great info there.

A superstove is a well designed stove that burns clean enough that you could pass EPA phase 2 and harness as much of that heat as possible going up the stack, all the while make it easy to clean,We have one that you are welcome to copy or just take some Ideas from it is called the Optimizer 250, what I would do is get literature from all the manufacturers and pit each against the other on the ideas and take the best to incorparate those ideas into your stove, not going to be easy but it would be a great project.
