General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Re: In floor heating
« on: November 17, 2017, 08:13:38 PM »
What about electronics and a separate pump.
Not so much as in floor heating but under floor heating from my boiler.
Was wondering what is evolved in setting this up.
Do I need a separate pump?, and what kind of controls?
Very new at this but pretty handy for a guy with only one hand.
1st year with my boiler. Hx in forced air oil furnace and a 30 plate hx for dhw a manifold.
Thanks for any advice.

Thanks everyone.
I have about a 60 foot run(1 inch logstor)into a 4 port manifold, short run to the furnace(1 inch copper) , using a grundfos 15/58.
Hope to add a hx for dhw and something for my pool/hot tub.
Do I need a bigger pump?
Thanks for all the help, I've learned lots just from reading on this forum.

Is a 20 plate heat exchanger large enough for a family of four adults?
Thanks.

I'm thinking of building a owf and I'm looking for a good set of plans.
Any ideas or help would be great.
Thank you
