Title: Loading Door
Post by: dieselpolaris on January 25, 2015, 06:53:29 AM
Rather than build my own wondering if it be more practical to buy one already made. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions on which doors they like best. Thank you.

My door is from an old woodstove that I was no longer using.  It's cast iron so it withstands heat well. I have often seen old stoves at the local scrap yard.

Jeremy.flaugh do you have a build thread for your boiler? Where did you get the plans??? Do you have your boiler up and running? How has it been working for you?

Hello vpd66 I started a new topic so we don't hijack this thread.

I posed this question to Scott7m before and he could sell me a commercial made door. You might contact him.  At the time I was looking for a BIG door and he had a line on one like 30x42" and I see that's the same size as a Heatmaster 20000 door.

A friend and I are still considering building a big boiler and we'd probably buy the door.
