Title: 200 CSS No insulation on back

Hello All,

I have a new to me 2013 200 CSS. There is no insulation on the rear of the tank where the inlet and outlet lines are. It seems to me that is a lot of surface area exposed to the cold. Has anyone insulated that area? If so, what did you use?

Maybe the design changed since I got my 2008 200 CSS.  The back area with the inlet/outlet is exposed if you have the back access door open and looking at it.  The door, however, is insulated so when you have the access door closed the whole thing is in an insulated shell.  My dad's 2015 model also has an insulated back door.  So, assuming yours is the same setup, if you close that back door, it'll be insulated.  You could add more insulation to the rear of the water jacket if you'd like, but it's not a big concern.  If you were to do it, I'd suggest gluing on the foil faced bubble insulation.

I juse stuffed a few pieces of rolled r15 in the back panel it fits snug and seems to be fine. I don't think it's needed tho
