Mid 2011, I stopped by and looked at the Log Boiler. Brian Nadeau and Rick Fulcher also stopped by on another trip.
I was in the middle of a Hostile takeover by Silverwinds Hutterite Colony. We crashed in November 2011.
May 2012 we are NOW back in business and are taking care of past warranty and obligations.
Wood Doctor has moved totally to pressurized boilers to prevent corrosion.
Brian Nadeau of Lazyman's boilers decided to purchase the Log boiler company.
I helped Brian Nadeau with some websites. Brian had been a great dealer for 10 years and is a very honest person. He is also a good friend.
The Logboiler is Tom Lubber of Hudsonville, MI.
Tom sold the Logboiler company to Brian Nadeau, and the furnace Tom made for Brian never worked.
Tom Lubber refused to give Brian instructions on how to fix the electrical problems. None of Tom's furnaces were ever UL certified and were illegal to deploy.
At the time Wood Doctor was closed, so I went on the trip with Brian when he went to pick up the furnace that Tom built for him. Brian was never able to deploy that furnace as it was improperly wired and did not include any wiring schematic to fix it or use in certifying it. Brian Nadeau purchased 3 furnaces, plus gave Tom a huge deposit of $105,000 on the company, but would not give Tom anymore because Tom cheated him. The furnaces cost double what Tom told Brian they would cost before he sold him the company, and Tom would not supply the plans of how to fix them. Tom also made and wired boxes for other units that Brian had made in Clare, NB. None of these worked either. Now Tom is hoping to sell the company to someone else. Any takers?

John H is from Nova Scotia. I have watched him do this same thing with Rick Upman as he tried to get revenge as Rick cut him back in a loaner vehicle because of deceit. John pretended to be a couple of different people and tried to lie and deceive to get Rick to lose his franchise. He reported that Rick had repaired an expensive rim that had been in an accident, and had charged the insurance company for a new one. Then he went on to say that this repair caused an accident. This was a total lie.
John worked with me until I found out that he was all bullcrap and lies.
Then when he walked off with some contracts, I dismissed his sorry ass.

Silverwinds Hutterite Colony had manufactured our furnaces for the past 9 years.
They did a HOSTILE takeover of part of our distribution.
In the summer and fall of 2011 we had a hard time getting furnaces. They no longer supply us with any.
We crashed in November 2011.
There are still a few people that have not received their furnace.
These orders will be taken care of. They will receive a furnace soon. It will be a better one.
I was approached by a few manufacturers that heard what had happened and wanted to help. This was appreciated, but I was not mentally able to step back into the fray at the time. I am ready now!
Some of the things said on the internet were true.
We were way behind in deliveries all summer, mostly because they were not available.
When we crashed there were some undelivered furnaces. They will be delivered soon.
There is one person in particular who has been spreading lies about me, my family, my partners, and the company He shows a picture or takes a fact and adds a lie to it to make the lie appear like the truth. He goes by the handle of Hawken. I thought it was someone else but now know who he is.
I have even watched him do this before. I had forgotten.
I was shocked to watch him gleefully attack Rick Upman on the internet. He secretly pretended to be other people to try to cause Rick to lose his franchise.

Lets clear up a few facts.
Most warranties are written to protect the manufacturer. We are no exception. Our warranty is not perfect. It covers electrical parts for 1 year. It covers 100% of repairs for 5 years. It has a limited prorated replacement warranty for 30 years. This is much like a tire or battery. In 30 years it is still worth 25%. Still it is possibly the best warranty on the market. We certainly apeared to have a tough furnace.
Wood Doctor furnaces were manufactured by Silverwinds Hutterite Colony, of Box 159, Sperling, MB R0G 2M0
Wood Doctor is a product owned by Outside Heating Systems Ltd. The attack that Classaction put in to insinuate that we are going out of business was untrue. The $50. annual renewal was overlooked as we are in the process of moving corporate headquarters to Virginia. I thought this would enable us to better serve our customers and dealers.
This did not work out. November 2011 we crashed. Silverwinds Hutterite Colony did a Hostile takeover of part of our distribution and stopped supplying us with furnces. They also stopped honoring their warranty.
All Wood Doctor furnaces were covered during the first 5 years by Silverwinds. They are now calling the Wood Doctor a "Polar Furnace".

As of May 1, 2012 we will be online with a new furnace. We will continue to honor all warranty after the 5 year promissed by Silverwinds.
Classaction, alias bankrupt, has never owned a Wood Doctor furnace. John H-r-y is from Nova Scotia, Canada. We were involved in another business. I forgive him for the unjustified attacks. May he find the forgiveness and peace of Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
The arborist site is owned by the competition. The arborist site will not allow me to post a rebuttal to their trash. It should only take an intelligent person 20 minutes to determine that everyone is trashed but their 2 stoves, that will wash the dishes, clean the house, and even make love to them at night.
It is amazing how small people will hide and trash others, but are terrified to give out their real identity. They know if they were to give out fraudulent information using their real names, they would be held accountable. In no time people would know that they are lying. They would be disgraced.

Dry wood and following the suggested temperatures stops this from happening.
The control aquastat should always be kept either 180F or 190F for a hot water system.

I was approached by a few manufacturers that heard what had happened and wanted to help. This was appreciated, but I was not mentally able to step back into the fray at the time. I am ready now!

There is one person in particular who has been spreading lies about me, my family, my partners, and the company He shows a picture or takes a fact and adds a lie to it to make the lie appear like the truth. He goes by the handle of Hawken. I thought it was someone else but now know who he is.
I have even watched him do this before. I had forgotten.
Hawken real name is John H---y.
John is also from Nova Scotia.
John hides under a few different handles.
The Hawkin picture is also a fake.
John H---y suffers from Narcissism.

I never liked the original Portage and Main
I had dismissed them years ago.
This summer an associate pointed out that the new improvements that they had implemented, were similar to some of the improvements we were planning on our New Wood Doctors.
I was surprised and impressed.
Neil Hoofer is the son of the minister and runs the CAD programs and acts as plant manager at the Hutterite Colony called Silverwinds. No changes happen to furnaces unless Neil agrees and implements them on the CAD program.
I was always waiting for improvements to be implemented.
One little change that would cause Neil 8 hours at the most, was to reduce the width of the House and roof on the Regular by 2 inches on each side.. That would have saved Wood Doctor an average of $250 shipping on every Regular manufactured. There is no advantage to having a big bulky outer house almost as wide as a Medium size.
Another change was to increase the door jamb extension to 3/8” thickness.
I would leave factory meetings expecting improvements to happen, as soon as Neil fits it into his schedule. I have waited a number of years and they still never happened.
Improving any furnace for Wood Doctor was not in Neil’s long term plans.

The WD8000 was our best selling unit. The unit I took apart had no support.
We have had a lot of trouble with the WD14000 around the chimney.
The firebox is really heavy.
I would suspect that the Industrial WD30000 has support.
The HE5000 was not built at Silverwinds, but was built at Fordham Manufacturing in South Dakota. Silverwinds had contacted Fordham as Silverwinds found the HE10000 too time consuming. The HE5000 is a new design by Fordham. It was well designed.
The water level tube is not hooked to the furnace, but is on the water overflow tank.
As water heats it expands and overflows into the tank and then siphons back to the furnace as it cools.
Only ever add water when you are up to 180F. Then only fill to ¾ maximum.
