Thanks Marty, I'll do what I can Al but I'm now working hauling logs to various mills, the company has a lot of wood cut ahead and I'll be working maximum hours for quite a while in order to catch up.
Jake assures me that he will take care of any service or warranty issues, I hope that he is true to his word!

Weeks behind here now as well, bad enough I was laid up with a smashed toe, but it started raining last week and hasn’t stopped, gonna be a huge rush if it ever dries out. The not top it all off have relations flying in from the UK the first week of June.

Nope, that one went local but I'm supposed to be taking some Poplar to Rumford next week, as much as I hated to get back into this, a new Pete softens the blow a bit!

Could be, some places got more than us and we had way too much.

Sorry to hear it. I don't know anything about the situation but I would assume it to be another causality of the combination of a softening owb market due to the over priced new models forced into market by the epa, and the fact fossil fuel prices have come down in recent times. I think slim has helped a lot of people over the years regardless of brand and I hope things work out for everyone involved.

I'm sure that on their end it had something to do with the market, on my end it had everything to do with integrity, truth and honor, Karma has its way of working things out in due time. For those who bought HeatMaster products because of me I ThankYou! I will continue to support you any way I can, for those who are on the fence Please do not make your decision based on any endorsement from me.

Well here we go again, HeatMaster was supposed to send a truck with the New York dealer( who goes by smokeless  on here )to pick up their product to return early this morning, guess what stood up again and I'm the one with the drama. If you are a dealer for these people and have boilers financed through their floor plan, do yourself a big favor and get out of it while you can.

Don’t use it, floor plan that is, I live in a red county with a blue county seat and they are out to get their hand in your pocket anyway possible. If I did have a slew of stoves sitting here they’d either be saying I have to pay property tax on em or call it all inventory even though technically I don’t own em, but since I can make a profit on em I have to claim em. If I lived in the all red county just to the south of me my property taxes would be about half as well would my vehicle registrations. My distributer is close enough I can have a stove here by the end of the day, next morning at the latest. Have two on site at all times, this lets me just squeak by and stay under the cap for when taxes have to be paid on em.

Have bad enough money grubbers in the county government that even if I lease a piece of equipment and it’s over a certain value I still have to pay property taxes on it because I can make a profit with it and have use of it even though I can’t use it as equity.

Never used the floor pan either, and never heard of anyone else having trouble with it either.  Never like deadlines to have to pay in the future cause I never know what the future holds. I like to feel I'm free and not beholden to nobody.

I’d like to have several of each on the property, but I’m not going to deal with the county seat and their taxes. Typical shining example of government, run out of money the solution is never to tighten the ole belt, it’s always reach into more peoples pockets with their sticky fingers.

Ooooh Marty but if you only had a clue as to how the company can control you once you sign then you certainly wouldn't be up for it, yea Shepard boy, we know, you never heard of any issues with it did you!

They offer floor planning to give their dealers more options. We haven't used it either and to the best of my knowledge, Slim, they've never forced anyone to sign up.

I certainly never said they forced anybody but they sure did push it at the dealer meeting and wanted me to push it as a rep. Don't get me wrong, floor planning can be a good thing for both the dealer and the manufacturer. It puts the product out into the market where it can be sold but there must be safeguards on both sides, for example as happened with me, I have several units here that are from the  defunct batch that I am on the hook for, Northpoint will not force HeatMaster to take them back and until Friday evening I did not want to sell them, now they have ticked me off with their delays and I think I'll have a fire sale, please come to see us at the Bangor Loggers expo on May 19-20! When they are gone, they are gone.

Ok, I received another call from Jake today, it appears that we may have reached an agreement, if so then this will be my last post regarding HeatMaster, I'm sure there are a few of you that will be happy about that and I'll say that I never meant to harm any of you but I will always fight to protect my honor and my interests, I'm glad that I received the call!
