I added about 8" to the top and foil bubble type on the outside doors of my Heatmor 200.  I was loosing too much heat on windy days.  Seems to help some.  The roof insulation had gaps between the batts and pretty sloppy.  I only added as much as would fit and didn't try to pack it in there tight.  The wrap on the doors helps as those thin doors leak a lot of heat - especially the back door facing the west wind.

i just cut to fit 2" foam board from lowes around base of unit to keep wind and cold out and away from pipes coming up out of ground, figured it couldnt hurt, keeps critters out and not hot enough to cause melt issues. stopping any heat loss has to be a bonus for couple $$ investment.

My stove was neatly wrapped in r30 and I added r19 until it was snug to the bottom, sides and top. Helps so much to where running a 15 diff in 30 degree weather my fire almost dies out.

I've done many , using Roxul. Actually helps a lot for standby loss. Doesn't loose it R value like pink does when it gets wet, damp or compressed.
