1 inch pex 3 way zone valve
« on: October 04, 2015, 01:49:20 AM »

Hi all

Do they make 3 way zone valve with pex ends or theaded
So you can screw pex connectors in to them. Instead of sweeting
Let me know as this might be wish full thinking. 19 years ago I ended up replacing 2 because of leaks it was costly mistake.
At this point I know hotter torch would of done the trick. But theads or pex end would be easyer to deal with. Thanks for any info.

That's great. I searched everywhere and could not find them .
What I want to do it screw 1 inch pex ends in and use pex from there I have crimp tool and stuff . you just made my job easyer.
need to get them on order.  I have 24 v Honeywell's . would the 120v use same kinda thermostats or is it a different setup. Thanks alot for the find.  It's so awesome.

No expert but think you would have to stick with your existing voltage.

Another one, pricier though.

You will want to watch the CV numbers and look for one with the highest you can find. The last link shows the rating is 3.0 which may cause significant flow issues.

Does anyone else use these Schneider zone valves are they as good as Honeywell ones I have. Never had any issues with Honeywell ones. For 19 years knock on wood.  Wonder how small hole is in the 1  I'm sure about 1/2inch ..

The cv number will give you an idea of the size of the hole. The CV rating is the number of gallon per minute to drop pressure 1psi. (1 psi = about 2.3' of head)
