Dual radiators

Has anyone ever tried running water through 2 radiators with 1 pump?  Would this work or would it over work the pump?

In series or parallel? If in series you’re just upping your head pressure, if the line is sized correctly to start with this shouldn’t be a problem however the second one will have lower air temps if the first is running as well.

In my shop I ran 1 1/4” line from the stove to the opposite wall, then tee’d off to 1” line to each 50,000btu heat exchanger, I also added ball valves after the T for isolation and to balance the flow, I got lucky enough in laying it out that both line sets after the T’s are close enough in total length not to have to mess around trying to balance flow, I just leave the ball valves wide open.

I'm just wanting to add in series. I'll just be adding it to my return line going back to the furnace. I'm not to concerned with the temp drop just adding for a heat source in my basement.  I just don't want to over work my pump.

Biggest restrictions will be in the fittings, the heat exchanger itself shouldn’t add much.

It depends on the size. If it is fairly narrow it could add a lot of restriction.
