You might be a redneck if.......
« on: November 28, 2011, 08:30:45 PM »

I had been thinking of a CHEAP way to be able to monitor when my P&M 250 gasser was cycling, as you can rarely see anything exiting the exhaust. I went to Wal-Mart about a week and a half ago and saw that they have Christmas things on sale already, and all at once it dawned on me: Why not buy a string of LED lights and take one of them from the string and hook it up to my blower or solenoid? I bought a string, but on the way home, I figured with Christmas coming and all, why not just use the whole string of 25? So I did. I ran them up one corner and under one eve(with Gorilla duct tape of course). I think they are incredibly cool. My wife just noticed them tonight. She came in the living room where I was watching tv and said, while rolling her eyes, "You've got to be kidding- do we live in Michigan or Mich-tucky?" She thinks I'm a bit impaired upstairs for having lights on a boiler. Me and my kid think it's awesome!

Hahaha...  I have had lights on my wood shed for the past few weeks.  I am going to upgrade from the regular tiny bulbs to led, then go around my stove to!  I always wanted lights on my wood shed but just enough to see my wood, man it's great!  And yes I live in Kentucky

Ridge and Bull-
I wish I knew how to post them, 'cause I'd have a bunch of pictures on here already. We are talking about buying a more modern video camera as a family Christmas gift this year that would be compatible with our computer. I'd like to post a couple videos of my home made gasser in operation heating my sisters home, as well as my lights. I can promise everyone reading this post that there isn't anyone more computer illiterate than myself. I'm sure I'll have to have one of our moderators walking me through that process step by step when the time comes. I don't know or understand any of the terminology involved with computers or their accessories.

I do know how to send and retrieve e-mails. I have no idea what attaching photos is about. I can, however, send pictures with my cell phone.
