hello guys, a friend of mine who has a 10.000 mf gave me a bottle of ,I believe conditioner, from when he bought his furnace few years back, so my question is, I have no idea what it is ,the bottle is white and round and holds approx. 1 litre, all of the writing is gone as they were outside for a while,it is still sealed good, does anyone know what it is and do I use the entire bottle......its def from heatmaster guys so no worries there...I just don't know what it is and how much to use...any ideas.....thanks again...he used two bottles in his furnace.......

Two bottles is what you need the first time you fire up a 10,000. After that, 1 gallon will last you a long time. At the start of each season, I typically have to add from halfway down the gauge to full, and I add 1/4 to 1/2 a gallon then send in for testing. Your numbers will be less running the 5,000. That was a good gift. It's about $70 per bottle.

They changed which water treatment they recommend about 5 years ago. If he bought his furnace since then you should be alright.
