Mower is broke down pto cable is broken, two flat year tires and a bad battery not looking forward to overhauling the lawn mower.  I normally burn into mid april.  Colder nights require some kind of heat.  I hate the later spring months fiddling with the amount of wood needed to last the day and nights.  Towards the end I usually say screw it and bundle up at night.  I have a feeling towards the end of March and early April temps could plunge here in Michigan.  Figure I have at least 20 days 90 the boiler running

Yep, stupid grass is starting to look mighty green here. At least this year I don’t have to mow with a fubared back.

Supposed to be back below freezing at night by the end of the week here.

Gonna be planting corn before I know it.

Was 64 here Sunday, all the snow went buh bye. Then we had another winter storm come thru, rain, freezing rain, sleet then snow. Is 24 now, with an expected high of 60 by middle of next week. Is playing hell on the livestock, sent the wife to TSC to stock up on long lasting single dose antibiotics, gonna have at least a few cases of pneumonia at this rate.

We'll probably hit 64 by August,,,,,,,,,,,

Typical first day of spring in good old New England. This am we had blizzard like conditions with 1-3 inch an hour snow. tonight the snow is 99% gone and we cooked out on the grill. got to love days like that. 8)

Just keep that white stuff over around Georgian Bay, we don't need any more in central Ontario...Even had my sled out for a short run on the lake today....

Northern part of the state (Iowa) is expected to get 6-10 inches of snow tonight. Southern 2 tiers of counties are under tornado warnings. We got some rain and high winds. Temps dropped 30 degrees today. Alfalfa and grass is all seeded and we're hooking to the planters. Saw a guy mowing his yard today. What next? Tsunami?

Nothing like that here yet Bud Man, still mighty wet along fencerows and north of any woods.

I might plant some hay in the next week or two if it doesn’t get too wet the next few days.
