Title: Flapper on blowers on Model 400

how far are the flappers suppose to open on the blowers???? mine open about 1 inch??? are they suppose to open all the way or no??? This is my first time with a forced draft unit....THANKS

Mine only swings open about that far.  I highly doubt they're supposed to open all of the way since they don't have a servo on them to open/close them and they close by gravity only.  Think of it more like the flapper on the exhaust of a semi with vertical stacks.  They open as far as they need to to pass the air that the blower can produce through the opening.
