General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Ibc heater
« on: June 29, 2019, 05:38:11 AM »
Anybody got any ideas on how to make a heater to heat a ibc tank off your wood boiler. I am overwintering Tilapia in my garage for the winter. I could run the pex through the tank but the key would be to regulate the temp. Thanks in advance.

I asked Slim the same question one time. He said that if I was using ocean water it might make a difference, but not softner water. I used it in my demo Woodmaster for fourteen years, and sold it. It lives on heating two houses.

Take the hose off the blower and blow out with leaf blower or air.

I am seventy three years old, but don't feel it. I have cut wood all my life and still cut wood. I always tried to figure out a way not to burn propane. Started with a Buck stove in my fireplace. Moved up to a used Woodmaster that lasted fourteen years. It didn't quite I wanted to change it out for a Portage and Maine BL 2840. Woodmaster was way over sized. Sold it to a guy that heats two houses. My wife and I live on seventy acres that has been in my family for one hundred and forty-five years. A while back I had the privilege of meeting Slim when we were on Vacation.

Government seems to put honest hard working people in their cross hairs. These are the people that keep this country going. Get out of their way and let them prosper.
