Title: Electric Usage
Post by: kybaseball on January 16, 2012, 08:36:31 PM
Just wondering if anybody keeps up with how much they are using a daily bases. Since I have put in the Stove we are using about 60 kilowatts a day. Just wondering if that is high or low.

I guess I still have some to work on. Just wonder how much square footage do you have. I have around 6000 that we ate heating.

Your probably ok, that's 1200 kwh a month and at my rate that would be 158/month

I replied in your general post...   I'm only heating 2300 sq ft tho

3750 sq foot for mine.  I think you are in a good range for that size house. I think the things that ding me the worst are my dryer and oven!  I'd love to convert my dryer to hydronic but its a couple years old and dont want to modify it and void the warranty and such.

I hope you are enjoying it!
